Hello!
I’m Alex, and I run the NiceWork studio – a design practice with a special interest in supporting environmental charities and organisations. Several years ago, I left my position as Creative Director at a corporate design studio to work with causes and initiatives whose goals align with my passion for the natural world.
When I'm not designing, you’ll usually find me stomping over the hills with my rescue dogs or researching obscure wildlife species at the request of my animal-mad children.
Whether you need a well-designed report or social media post to break down complex ideas into digestible, engaging content, or an impactful supporter magazine to keep your audience connected and informed, you can trust that your project is in safe hands with me.
I offer freelance or part-time work, so if you have a specific project in mind or need an extra pair of hands for regular support – I’m here to help.

Experienced and reliable
With 15+ years in the field, I’m comfortable managing everything from initial concepts to final artwork, copy editing, and image sourcing. Over the years, I’ve worked on reports, magazines, print and digital advertising campaigns, brochures, identities, and more!

I find the natural world fascinating and am currently studying Field Ecology in my spare time!
